Good news

Just found out that I'm off from the 5th-18th of April. But it means I have to work extra hours next week, but I'm okay with that! Can't wait to have some time off again, no idea what my plans are. Hoping someone can come visit me in London!

Working late today like every other day this week. But I'm okay with that, haven't got any plans anyway. Just looking forward to the weekend. I need a big glas of wine tomorrow night! Hasn't been very fun working while having the worst cold and also having these awful migraine attacks. But tomorrows friday, can't wait!

Back to work

Feel so week and tired after the weekend, but I guess it's my own fault really! Had a good weekend, started of with drinks in Putney friday night with Ida and Rebecka. Always nice getting to know more people here in London. Got home so late friday, 6 in the morning haha! So didn't even go to bed, just had a shower, two cups of coffe and then I got on the bus to Cardiff!

Had a few things to do in Cardiff, then my cousin had a house party in the evening. It was a good night. But I'm glad to be back in London. Also, my mum booked tickets today so she will be back in London in a few weeks. Can't wait to have my mum here again!

Can't wait to move to Cardiff in September, uni life is so fun!

Summer 2015

Okay, so I know it's only march. But I can't wait for the summer. To just hang out with my friends and family. I miss them all so much and feels so good that I get to spend a whole summer with them before uni starts in September.

Love looking at all these old summer memories. The first four pictures is from the boat I worked on a few summers ago. I actually talked to my old boss yesterday, and I may be working there this summer too. Nothing decided yet, but I hope it all works out!

The end of something beautiful

So today I had to sit down and really figure out what I'm doing for the summer, and it looks like I'm going to spend it in Sweden! As most of you know, this isn't really want I wanted. But, it's just easier going back to Sweden for two months and maybe, earn some money. That's if I get a job! But at least I get to spend loads of time with friends and family. So in about 3 months I'm on a plane back to Sweden.

Can't believe that my Aupair year is coming to an end. Now I'm just so excited for university!

Me and Kajsa from the other day!

My weekend

A night out in Angel, a walk to Battersea park with Kajsa and drinks at mine saturday evening. Feels like forever since I was London for a weekend. So it was nice to finally be back, this weekend reminded me a lot of why I love living here. London, you are amazing!

Throwback Thursday

Studenten. I've been so nostalgic the past few days, specially when I found all of these photos from my graduation in Sweden. It was such a happy day. I finally got to step out into the world and make my own decisions. I would have never believed back then that I am going study in Cardiff. Life has been one crazy ride since that day, and I have grown into this strong and independent person. And I kind of like her! For so long I struggled with the uncertainty about who I was and where I wanted to be. It was so hard to make decisions and trust people, when I couldn't trust myself. But that has changed now. I know who I am, and I finally now were I want to be.

Jet lagged kids

So the kids got back this morning, they actually went to school. Better to get them right back into the routine. Just got back after dropping Caitlin off. I have some work to do now, and then I have to start with lunch before I pick Caitlin up from nursery! It's going to be a hectic day with jet lagged kids, but I have survived worst. So I can do this!

Saw this video the other day, and it made me so happy. CARDIFF! You should watch it, this is were I am going to live in september!

An extra day off

So as I am leaving the hole Aupair life in London soon, my blog is going to be more about my university life. Or what I should really write, my preparation for University. It's not just applying, getting in and then it's done. There is so much more to do. Like applying for student halls, loans and the list goes on... and of course, it's more complicated for me as I am a EU student.

Anyways, I have finally applied to halls in Cardiff, and my loan from Sweden is all set! On Saturday I have an interview to get a "National Insurance number" witch is something you need if you want to work or study here in the UK. Feels good that I'm finally getting everything ready and set for September. Don't think I can relax until everything is done.

So it turned out that my host family gave me the wrong date, so they didn't come home today. They will be home tomorrow morning instead. Always nice to have an extra day off I guess. I haven't done much really, but it was nice to just relax. Tomorrow it's back to work for real. Not looking forward to it, but what can you do!

Night night everyone! xx

So excited

Okay so life has been crazy lately. I decided to put my blog aside for while, and focus on my uni application. So you all know that I applied to universities here in the UK, and guess what? I GOT IN. So in September I'm studying media production in Cardiff. I'm basically down in Cardiff every weekend anyway, so I might as well just move down there! I am so excited and thankful for this opportunity. It's been my dream for so long to actually study in the UK, I'm now I'm here. Still can't believe it.

Tomorrow my holiday ends, basically been off for two weeks, and guess were I spent most of my time? Wales.. of course. The first week Elin came all the way from Sweden, and we spend a few days in Wales. She left the Wednesday and I stayed the rest of the week with Ash. A lot of partying, and not a lot of sleep. That pretty much sums up my past few weeks. But I've had so much fun. So nice to just live for a bit, and not have to work. But tomorrow I'm back to work, only a few more months to go then I'm done with the Aupair job in London. As much as I love the kids I'm working with, I am actually really done with the Aupair life. A year is definitely enough for me!

Well I'm going to watch another episode of The walkind dead, trying to catch up. Missed so much! So I'm off. Feels good to be back.
I miss her already

Oxford Street

Started my day off just right. I'll show you letar what I bought. Have some stuff to do know, like cleaning my messy room. So I'll do that until it's time to pick up the little one, pls can I have good kids today? Hope you have a lovely day, and hope you all have fun tonight. Sadly, I'm working. So I wont be able to go out, but I'm up early tomorrow so it's probaby for the best. I'll be back tonight to show you the two dresses I bought!

A long road ahead

My application is finally sent in, and I can relax, kind of. There's a long road ahead. I hope that I will have the opportunity to study here in he UK. It's been my dream for so long, so I hope everything works out. With money as well. So fingers crossed! Wish me luck everyone, because I'm going to need it!

Love, Julia

2014 - London

So this pretty much sums up this year in London. Moving to London was the best decision I've ever made, and I'm glad I had the courage to move on my own. England is my home, and I'm glad I found my way back. If it's up to me, I'm never going back to Sweden.

Falling so fast I am afraid of you

Back to work. Today we spent most of our afternoon in the library. When we got back their dad had some tacos ready for us, yummy.Love it when I don't have to cook dinner! After work I took a long walk to Westminster and back. Crazy that I live so close to big ben. Went to the gym after my walk. After all the christmas food and crap food I've eaten during the holidays I have some serious training to do! Anyway, hope everyone had a lovely day.

Miss the summer and my jeans jacket, lost it at a nightclub in peckham. Will always hate myself for that...

My new years

Had an amazing new years in London. First me and Erik cooked a delicious dinner at my place, and after that we took the bus to peckham where Hanna lives, there we had a little pre-party before we took the train to clapham juncion, to a night club called car wash. The nightclub was really good, and we had such a fun night. Perfect way to start my year, and now I'm so excited for what the new year has to bring. Out with 2014, and in with 2015!

Back to work

So every time I try to update my blog, I just don't know what to write. To be honest, it's been like this for a while. I guess you can say I haven't really been inspired to write anything, and I wished I did. Because I love having a blog. I wish I was better with tips about the Aupair and London life. BUT as it's a new year, I might as well go for a new start here on my blog. I am going to try my absolute best to start posting again, pictures, tips and everything about my life in the amazing town LONDON and my university application.

So I hope you can forgive me. Lots of love, Julia.
